Join Lisa, MA, ATR-P, for an evening art therapy session! During this hour-long session, we will explore art-making as a way to reduce stress, encourage self-reflection, and promote personal insight.
No art experience required! Art therapy is about the process, not the product! This is a safe, confidential space to explore our thoughts and feelings. Your creative expression will be supported and encouraged in this judgment free zone.
Bring paper and something to make marks on a surface--your favorite art supplies, whatever you are comfortable with--multiple mediums create more visual diversity, but whatever you have access to will work perfectly.
In this course you will learn what you need to start a Gratitude Art Journal. You will also learn the benefits of combining creativity and mindfulness while learning ways to incorporate gratitude into your daily routines.
Add more creativity to your week with AHP Artist-in-Residence Jennifer Wilkin Penick. On Wednesdays at 2PM via Zoom she will guide you through a FREE one-hour art project, art technique, or creative prompt.
Class will meet on Wednesdays from October 18 to December 13
No experience is required and you will need only very basic supplies: scissors, glue, paper, and some sort of color media (paint, paint pens, markers, colored pencils, etc.). Each week you will make art that encourages you.
